New Conversion Vehicles

Looking for a new conversion? New accessible vehicles are built for comfort, flexibility and dependable everyday use, and they come with the latest safety and convenience features.

A conversion is the work that turns a standard van into an accessible vehicle. The most common types are side-entry conversions, where the ramp or lift opens along the side, and rear-entry conversions, where access is at the back. Some vehicles use a lift instead of a ramp, and some use a fold-out or retractable ramp. Each type suits different chairs, different transfer methods and different parking spaces.

When you choose a new conversion, think about who will ride, what size of wheelchair you use, how you will get in and out, how much space you need around the vehicle, and what you need to carry. Test the entry in person if you can, and check the headroom and the floor space with your own chair.

We work with several conversion brands, including FR Conversions, Driverge, BraunAbility and Vantage Mobility. Ask our team to show you the differences between them, including ramp operation, seating layouts and warranty coverage.
